Information collected and its use
For private-track (Sharap) patients, the practice uses an automated WhatsApp system for reminders and coordination around surgery. This stores: name, ID, phone, referral details, surgery/follow-up dates, and message content. This information is used solely to run the medical care itself (reminders, coordination, replying to inquiries) - it is never sold, shared commercially, or used for marketing.
External services
Some processing runs through WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta), Claude (Anthropic, to read the referral form), and encrypted storage infrastructure (Cloudflare) - each limited to its specific role.
Retention and rights
Information is kept as part of the practice's records, with access limited to Dr. Stern and staff. A patient who wants to review, correct, or delete their information is welcome to contact Dr. Stern directly.
